NorCal Equine Rescue Has A New Website!
Feedlot Horses Who Will Save Them?
www.FeedlotHorses.com

NorCal Equine Rescue invites you to our new sister website that has been made in hopes that we can help horses that are standing in feedlots right now be saved. You are their only hope! We need your help to save them or they will be killed.  You can save them and help give them the life they deserve by helping us.  We have joined efforts with Shirley Puga who has been instrumental in saving nearly 250 horses in only 16 months!  Way to go Shirley!
On this web site we will post horses that are in feedlots and will raise the funds needed to save them before the next semi truck and trailer come to pick them up and take them to a slaughterhouse.
When the funds are raised and the horses are saved, the horses are then transported to horse rescues so they can be adopted into loving homes.
When horses are only days away from being killed at slaughterhouses, we are notified by kind hearted feedlot workers about horses that they believe would best benefit from being rescued. We are given pictures and the slaughter prices we must pay to save the horses. Then the fund-raising begins, we send out an e-news to those who have signed up for the "Feedlot E-News" about the horses and start praying the funds will be raised. It takes about $2000.00 to $6000.00 to rescue a group of slaughter bound horses. The funds must be raised in only a few days, sometimes hours.
The website is almost finished, but with 9 horses at the feedlot right now, we decided to announce this new website ahead of schedule. These horses will be
slaughtered if you don't do your part to help! The Horses are scheduled to be forced into a truck bound for slaughter in Canada tomorrow.  The trip will be long and hot, then they will be brutally killed.  No horse deserves this fate, please help so that their lives do not end in such a terrible way. You have the power to saved their lives all you have to do is donate whatever you can!

Please feel free to join the Feedlot E-News on the www.FeedlotHorses.com website as we will not be sending future feedlot horse specific e-news from NorCal Equine Rescue.  Please tell anyone that you think may be interested in the new website.  The more people that help, the more horses can be saved from death!

A Little Update

We have been rescuing a lot of horses this month. They are not on our website yet but we are working very hard on evaluating, taking pictures, determining riding level, and placing it all together in an E-News.  We hope to have it out early next week.  If you are an experienced horse person near Oroville, Ca we would love to have some qualified volunteers.  We will be sending out an E-News soon with all the new horses.
Happy Trails!
