Game Patriot "Ruby"
is a very thin 15 year old, 15.1 hand, chestnut, Thoroughbred, mare, NER # 242.
Ruby is a very sweet girl who had some bad luck. She was rescued from a farm
that was not feeding her, she had been on a dry pasture for six months. The
people who rescued her couldn't afford to feed her either, so they took her to an
auction where she was rescued by us and is now getting the love & care she
needs. She has been ridden English, done dressage and was a broodmare for the
last six years. During her last birth she tore and was stitched up, the stitches
where still there when we rescued her, caked with manure and causing her pain.
We are looking for a home for her who can give her lots of love and nutrition.
Adoption Fee:
$400.00 |
Sheza QT Pep Chex "Sheza"
is a 18 year old, 14.3 hand,
Quarter Horse, mare, NER # 243. Her first owner had her 11 years and used her
for
bulldogging in rodeos. 4 years ago she was
sold and then
for the past 3 years she was used as a broodmare, but she miscarried every time.
They were unable to keep her and gave her away to a nice man, who needed her for
his grandson, but turned out to be a money hungry liar. He took his fat horse to an auction where we paid the $$$ to
save her from the killer buyers. Please if you can't keep your horse don't give
it away to strangers! We have ridden her she did good, but needs a refresher course.
Adoption Fee:
$850 |

Cindy is a 15 year old,
15.1 hand, thin,
Quarter Horse / Arabian, mare, NER # 244.
Cindy is a beautiful horse and loves to be groomed. Cindy does have a very
mild case of melanoma to learn more about melanoma
click here. She has been used as a trail
horse for kids. Her past owner had her for two years, but took her to an auction
because the kids lost interest in her. She is easy to ride, but needs someone who
can show her what to do and make her do it. She has been ridden by kids who let her
pretty much go where she wanted to go. She is like "Are you really going to make
me do that? Well ok I guess I will". She's very easy going and will make a great
horse for someone.
Adoption Fee:
$650 |
Stella is a 8 year old, 14.1 hand, Arabian/Quarter Horse, mare, NER # 245.
Stella
is a very sweet mare. She has had about 6 months under saddle. She is sensitive
and needs an experienced horseperson to put more miles on her. She will make a
nice riding horse but just needs more miles. She is an easy keeper, and good
around other horses. She has good ground manners and no vices. Her past owner
was no longer able to keep her and she donated Stella to us. She loves being
groomed and loved on and loves people. She is just waiting for a home she can
call her own, you can give her that home, she waiting for you to love her.
Adoption Fee:
$550 |
Flash
is a 2 year old, 14.1 hand, Quarter Horse, mare. NER # 246-149. Flash came
to our rescue as a 10 month PMU filly named Lucy. She was adopted by a staff
member who has given her lots of love, care, and started training her to saddle.
Due to our move to our new
facility she is no
longer able to keep her. Flash is in great health and up to weight, she is truly
beautiful. She is black right now but some day she will be a beautiful steel
dapple. She has a very sweet personality and is all around a very good girl. She
has a long life ahead her and with many hours of trail rides and love to give to
someone special.
Adoption Fee:
$500

Sunny
is a 8 year old, 15.1 hand, Arabian, gelding. NER # 236. Sunny is
doing good and gaining his weight back. He is in a foster home
and is making a great recovery. His is a very sweet guy and is loving all the love
his gets with his foster family. Thanks to people like you, we are able to give horses
like Sunny a second chance at life. Sunny would be most likely dead or almost
dead by now if we had not saved him. Some day soon Sunny will be able to fully
enjoy the life he deserves and be that
healthy, up to weight
and beautiful horse
that he once was. It is really fulfilling to work with so many neglected, unloved,
uncared for, and mistreated horses and to be able to see them enjoy their lives.
Thanks to your support Sunny is starting to enjoy his life again!

Cowboy is a 9 year old, 15 hand, Kiger Mule, gelding, NER # 226. Cowboy
is still in rehab and will remain in this status until spring 2007. After many
x-rays and vet bills, with no real answers to Cowboy's hoof condition, we where
overjoyed by an invitation from a bare foot trimmer for Cowboy to come and
be fostered with her and she would work on getting his hooves into the proper
conformation. We took Cowboy over to her ranch were he will have the best of hoof
care. We hope that all this loving care on his hooves will enable him to live a
pain free life and be able to run and play as he should.
