Cruiser, Ranger, Sweetie, Hart and Hay Baby Are Now Available For Adoption
More info on these equines can be found on our website www.SaveTheHorse.com

Cruiser is a paint gelding, 22 years old, 16 hands, NER # 215.  He is very sweet, likes to be brushed and played with, trailers well, and is very well trained. His owner said that he was used as a kids lesson horse for many years.  When on occasion he is startled by something he plants his feet and then just goes on.  His age doesn't show unless you try to push him to hard on trail rides.  He will make an excellent beginners horse or child's horse.

$
400
Ranger is a 23 year old, Quarter Horse, gelding, 14.3 hands, NER # 196. He is a real sweetheart and is very vocal about it. He is very easy to work with and just loves to be messed with, young children can lead or ride him around just fine.
Please open your home to this sweet old guy he has been through so much, he was only hours away from dying due to starvation. Ranger's before and after pictures are below.

Sweetie is a 10 year old, Pinto, 14 hand, mare, NER # 198.  Sweetie is a very sweet girl that loves to be loved on, she is now beautiful again. Sweetie is very well behaved, with great ground manners, grooms, loads, trailers, saddles, bridles, and is great with kids as she is very easy going. She is a wonder trail horse and loves to get out on a ride.
She has made a 100% recovery! Please open your home to this once again beautiful horse, she has been through so much, she was only days away from dying due to starvation. Sweetie's before and after pictures are below.

Hart is a 4 year old, Quarter Horse, mare, NER # 208. She was one of the horses of the feedlot in NV. She is becoming more friendly and is starting to let you touch her now.  Hart gave birth to a beautiful buckskin filly on May 5th.
Hay Baby is a very cute and feisty little girl. Hart is very protective of her and would not allow anyone to get near her until recently, so Hay Baby is a wild girl and loves to run, jump, rear and goof off. They both need a lot of work and love to bring them around.

Adoption Fee: $600 together

Sweetie & Ranger - Before & After!

Ranger & Sweetie were rescued January 27th 2006 a little over 3 months ago. Ranger and Sweetie had been severely starved, at one time they had no feed for 8 weeks. They were in terrible condition, falling from weakness, severe rain scalding and both their body score was a 1. The vet that look at them right after they were rescued, informed us that Ranger physically could not get any skinnier, he would just die, and that Sweetie was almost to that point. Ranger would have most likely died over the weekend if we had not rescued him. Ranger is recovering very well and just needs more weight now but is well on his way to a 100% recovery and Sweetie has made a total recovery!
Please open your home to Ranger and/or Sweety they have been through so much, they was only hours and days away from dying and now they are full of life and spirit once again.
