With the holidays here it is harder to raise
funds to rescue horses. Even though it's the
holidays, the horses still need your help, the
killer buyers will still go to the auction. You
can help save horses from slaughter - Every
Dollar Helps! |

December 14th Auction Rescue! |
For the
November 9th auction. - With the last funds raised
for saving horses from
auctions we were able to save 21 horses and
did this with $5,125.00 in donations!
Since March of this year, when we started
fundraising to save horses directly
from livestock auctions in particular, we have saved
184 horses from auctions. Our donation goal this
month is $5000.00 for the rescue and care of the
auction horses. Horses
are being dumped at auctions in droves. Adoptions
are slow, but horses still need to be saved from the
brutality of slaughter. The horses at the auction
need your help. In the wintertime, very few people
are wanting to buy a horse, except for those that
only see dollars on hooves, making a horse's chance
of finding a kind home virtually
nill at the auction.
It is
very important the killer buyers leave with
empty horse trailers. The killer buyers are driving
long distances to the auctions and then thanks to
your support, they are forced to drive home with
empty trailers. Please help us save more
horses from the fate of the killer buyers!
