Update: Auction Rescue - August 10th.
 
16 equines (1 mini donkey, 1 mule & 14 horses) were saved from the auction yesterday.
  The killer buyers this month were unfortunately able to take some horses out to their trailers. One of them was this beautiful 4 year old TB gelding that Ronny ran through the auction, but the reserve was at the meat price and it was a no-sale. This TB has only been off the race track for 3 or 4 weeks. It was breaking Tawnee's heart seeing these horses being loaded to their death, so she mustered up her courage and bought the horse pictured to the right from Ronny. This lucky horse will not be facing the horrible fate of brutal slaughter thanks to supporters like you. For more about yesterday - Click Here.


 A big "Thank You" from the equines in thanks of the supporters who were a part of saving their lives!

Radio Interviewed
Tawnee is going to be interviewed on a local radio station this evening, Monday the 11th, on KZFR from 5:30 to 6:00 PM. Anyone can listen online, http://www.kzfr.org/  Hopefully it's a resounding success, so don't forget to tune in either online or on the radio at 90.1 FM for the Sacramento area.
 So far this year we have saved 244 equines! Help us save more horses from abuse, slaughter and starvation.
