Help Feed The Horses! |
This is our greatest need. Right now our hay bill is
over $60.00 a day and the more horses we rescue the
bigger that bill becomes. We go through anywhere
from 9 - 15 tons of hay each month and the more horses
we rescue the more hay we need. We need your support to
help feed the horses. We really need hay sponsors, the
more hay we can count on the more horses we will be able
to rescue. |

Last Act of Kindness Fund |
The LAK fund is for those horses who are unwanted in this world. Due to
the "lak" of homes these horses would have most likely ended up at a
slaughterhouse
to be
brutally killed. Just
because a horse is unwanted doesn't mean we should close our doors to
them because we know they are unadoptable. We most to do the last act of
kindness and not turn a blind eye to them. |

Current Auction Rescue - 5/11/08 |
May 11th is the next auction day, please help us be able to rescue more
horses from an uncertain fate! At the last 3 auctions we have
rescued at, we have saved 24 horses! Please help us save even
more, our goal for this next auction rescue is $2,500. Please
donate what you can to help. |

Cowboy Needs Your Help! |
Cowboy has some navicular due to damage to his
navicular bone, it's not the disease, it is due
to an old injury. Our vet believes with the
surgery on that leg that he would be pain free.
Cowboy has been through a lot and we would love
to give him this surgery. He is a shy, sweet,
willing guy that deserves the best.
Please help us, help him. |

Mya
 We
rescued Mya from a feedlot right before she was
going to be sent to slaughter. After rescuing
her we were contacted by Petfinder that they
needed a horse for their Petfinder TV show. They
chose Mya. Mya has been seen on TV, Animal
Planet. Now see the behind the scenes of her
rescue, evaluation and filming! |
